Regular Limited and No-Fault Warranty Policies

Regular Limited Warranty

At Fishlogica, we are committed to ensuring that our products meet the highest quality, performance, and durability standards. Our Warranty Policy is designed to provide you with peace of mind and comply with or exceed the requirements of Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer Guarantees:

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure due to faults or defects in the manufacturing process. You may be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage arising from faults or defects in the manufacturing process. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Regular Limited Warranty Period:

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Fishlogica offers a two-year warranty on our rods. The warranty period commences from the date of purchase and covers any defects in materials or workmanship under regular use.

Regular Limited Warranty Coverage:

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials, or workmanship issues that arise during the warranty period. It does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized repairs or modifications.

Regular Limited Warranty Claim Process:

If you believe your product is eligible for a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

Contact our customer support team via email at info@fishlogica.com and provide details of the issue you are experiencing.

Our customer support team will guide you through the warranty claim process and may request additional information or evidence, such as photographs or proof of purchase.

If the claim is approved, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or provide a refund for the defective product.

Proof of Purchase:

To make a warranty claim, you must provide valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation. The proof of purchase should indicate the date of purchase and the product details.

Regular Limited Warranty Shipping and Handling Fees:

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the damaged fishing rod (or section of the fishing rod, if approved by us when reviewing your claim), prepaid and insured, to Fishlogica. At our discretion and only after approval from Fishlogica, this requirement may be waived, or we may choose to cover the shipping cost to Fishlogica. We will cover the cost of returning the repaired or replaced fishing rod to the customer.

Consumer Responsibilities:

To ensure the best possible outcome for your warranty claim, please note the following:

Follow the product's care instructions and use it per its intended purpose.

Take reasonable steps to prevent further damage or loss when a defect is discovered.

Cooperate with our customer support team and provide accurate and timely information.

Limitation of Liability:

To the extent permitted by law, Fishlogica's liability under this warranty is limited to repairing, replacing, or refunding the defective product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.

This Warranty Policy is in addition to and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

No-Fault Warranty Policy

At Fishlogica, we take pride in the quality and performance of our fishing rods. We understand that accidents and unexpected events can occur, so we offer a comprehensive no-fault warranty policy to give our customers peace of mind and confidence in their purchase.

No-Fault Warranty Coverage:

Our no-fault warranty covers all fishing rods sold by Fishlogica for five years from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers accidental damage, such as breakage or damage caused by impact, drops, misuse, or other unforeseen incidents that affect the rod's performance or cause failure. It does not cover normal wear and tear that does not affect the rod’s performance. NOTE; If you have damaged a guide, we suggest having the guide replaced by someone suitably skilled near you, as this would generally be considerably cheaper. If this is not possible or you choose not to, you may send the rod back to us, and we will replace the rod for the applicable fee.

    No-Fault Warranty Claim Process:

To file a no-fault warranty claim, please follow these steps:

    1. Contact our customer support team at info@fishlogica.com, providing your Full name, address, contact details, fishing rod model, a description of the issue, and photos or videos illustrating the damage. Provide one photo with the date written on paper and the section of the rod containing the decals / specs.
    2. Our team will review your claim and, if approved, provide fee payment details and advise on shipping details to ship the decals section of the damaged rod back to us in an envelope.
    3. Securely package the decals section of the fishing rod and send back to us. Please note that the sender is responsible for shipping costs to Fishlogica. We will only ask for this small section of the rod be sent back to keep shipping costs to a minimum. This is to avoid duplicate claims with the same damaged rod.
    4. Once we receive the section, our team will send the replacement with return shipping free of charge as soon as possible.

    No-Fault Warranty Replacement Fees:

We currently have flat fees for replacement under our no-fault warranty policy. Here's a guideline for replacement fees; these fees are subject to change throughout the no-fault warranty period:

Replacement Fees under the no-fault warranty policy as of June 31st, 2023:

    Premium Rods

Atlas Series: AUD $225 excluding GST.

Icon Series: AUD $250 excluding GST.

Sirius-Virtue and Parabol Series: AUD $300 excluding GST.

Where replacement is required, we will provide the customer with the same model (or an updated version of the same model), pending availability. Where a rod is no longer manufactured, we will provide you with a comparable model, or where you would prefer a similar model less than the equivalent value of the original rod, the model of your choosing.

No-Fault Warranty Shipping and Handling Fees:

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the section of the damaged fishing rod to Fishlogica. We will cover the cost of shipping the replacement fishing rod to the customer.

    Exclusions:

This no-fault warranty does not cover the following:

    1. Normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic damages that do not affect the rod's performance.
    2. Fishing rods purchased from unauthorized sellers.
    3. Loss or theft of the fishing rod.

Please note that the no-fault warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

    Limitation of Liability:

This No-Fault Warranty Policy also does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
